A broken gate always seems to happen at the worst time: stuck shut when you're late, stuck open overnight, or opening on its own. Whatever it's doing, I can usually find the fault quickly and get it working again, whoever fitted it in the first place.

What to send me first
A short video of the gate trying to move, and a photo of the motor and the control box. From those I can often tell you what's likely wrong and what parts to bring, which saves you time and money.
Common faults I fix

How I work
I diagnose the fault on site, give you a price before doing any work, fix it, and then check every safety device so the gate is safe as well as working.
Things you can check safely
Clean the photocell lenses, check the remote battery and make sure nothing is blocking the gate. My electric gate troubleshooting guides cover more. Please don't open the control box or bypass a safety device.
